Hello, and please allow me to introduce myself! My name is JessicaHarvey, and I’m the chief happiness officer and chocolate sommelierbehind BLUNT!
I’m originally from Zimbabwe, but I grew up in Portugal and have hadthe privilege of living all over the world since then. Life eventually tookme here to Luxembourg where my husband and I are now happilyraising our son.
So, what led me to start BLUNT!? My story begins with my hunger tolearn more about the true origins of my first and forever love — cacao.As I started exploring the craft chocolate world, I was blown away, notonly by the new flavors I was experiencing (because who knew realchocolate tasted so good!?) but also by the stories of the farmers andmakers I discovered behind each bar.
At the same time, I became disgusted by the harmful ingredients andpractices that I learned went into making most of the chocolate onsupermarket shelves. Once I became a mother, that feeling took on anew urgency, and it wasn’t long before I knew I needed to share mypassion for values-based chocolate with the world.
